So we finally stopped working for a few hours and went fishing.
Ron caught the only walleye which pissed me off. We need more for a dinner.
He usually catches a lot. They just don't seem to bite in the afternoon.

I did catch a master anglers award bass but only if we were in Manitoba.
That also pissed me off. We don't want bass.
Back home we were mixing up concrete for pads under the cottage.
He's really strong. I did some mixing but was glad when he took over.
This made me laugh.
Ron was laying in the low part of the crawl space using his impact drill as a hammer on a post we were trying to place under a beam.
Later he was trying to give me heck for letting a hose I was working spray some water on one of his tools.
I DONT THINK SO.
Here he is using his chain saw cutting out an old post. Two minutes before this shot he had his leg in front of the blade. He stopped and decided that might be a problem. Thank goodness.
We took the half mile walk down to Clay and Peggie's place this afternoon when we finished work on the cottage.
These dogs are buddies now. Charlie is such a sweet dog. Old and stiff but still happy.
We saw quite a few clusters of fresh blue berries on the path to Clay's house.
Ron said that is how they grow in Malachi and was encouraging me to eat them. I wasn't sure .
Likely because of the big grin on his face and when Daisy didn't eat them
I knew something was a little funny.
After the walk both Charlie and Daisy were happy to get a swim.
