Apparently there have been 230 heat related
deaths in the last week here in BC.
I put some meat in the smoker early
afternoon for our dinner tonight.
Three hours later it’s done to perfection.
I love my smoker.
Last Thursday I did a delivery to Salmon Arm
for John.
17 - 4x8 that were 20 feet long.
It was a pretty heavy load.
The builder didn’t have anyone there to help
unload so I ended up doing it with him.
I should have known better than to help.
I tripped walking backwards on some dunnage while carrying one of these huge beams.
No one likes to hear that cracking sound.
I thought I had broken my leg
but it was something else.
Almost a week later and I’m just limping
and no cane.god thing I’m tough.
