She’s not afraid of big jobs

Carrie bought a second houseboat in January and has been working on it full time since then. 

New railings, new motor, new controls, a total new interior including new beds , doors , appliances and dining table. Whew. 

And a new exterior paint job. 

Today was launch day. 


Everything went well , as expected. 

Now she has two boats in her rental fleet. 

This is the small one. 

I think it’s her favorite. 

Finishing The Log House

  

 We got snow in April  unbelievable  

Carrie and I picked up about 120 boards from the mill to enclose the space under her deck. 

Lots  of cutting and staining. 

The deer in the background was our supervisor. 

She stayed there eating for over an hour. 

This ended up taking longer then  expected. 

I love how much space we gained.  

This is a beautiful little house we built. 

Bloody woodpeckers. 

I’m going to have to do something about this. 

For new we have just netted the window. 

Now the whole house is netted.
