This is my sad story for the week.
This is a red tailed hawk that had a broken wing and was hanging around our property for about 4 days last week. My neighbours plus myself caught it on friday and Nina took it to the Vet's near us.Unfortunately they said it couldn't be saved and had to put it to sleep.
I'm not sure if they really tried to save this beautiful animal
because the bird sanctuary they should have taken it to is about two hours away
but I'm hoping they are telling the truth.
It was a beautiful animal and I'm truly sorry we couldn't save it.
